Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, soul gospel and jazz in his signature style. She's performed on Broadway and in the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine Her real name is Denise White. Her birthplace is Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by playing the piano and singing in the church. She studied at Spellman College and began to learn the R&B styles of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan It was later remixed by numerous producers and is a staple in her live show. The Fighting Temptations was the another soundtrack on which she sang. She became the primary piano player for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her singing she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls production during the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained national recognition for 4 performances a day during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was invited to perform as part of the inauguration of President Obama in 2009.
