Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. While Artistic Director of SSC she also was the company's producer costume/set designer music director, composer and coach for text. Although she was usually the leader of her ensembles the first time she was directing was as part of SSC King Lear.
